The Cowking family love participating in the YMCA running events. They’ve dressed up as Santas and elves at our Santa Run event in December, and came along as a family to the recent Fun Run & Festival.
“The 2019 day was a huge success – we had competitive runs from all the family!”, says Julian Cowking, “and after the runs we spread picnic rugs in front of the main stage and settled to enjoy the music, food and, for the kids, the fair rides. In fact we stayed so long, we enjoyed some leftover cakes at the very end! We invited all our friends down to enjoy the run and the festival, and personal bests were broken (or missed!). But best of all was seeing everyone enjoying themselves so much and joining in with the fun.”
“Next year, our youngest, Eva will be able to join in, too – she cannot wait!”
