Celebrating a Radical Community
Held every July Whitecross Street Party in EC1 is transformed for two days, is one of London’s best kept secrets for street art with new commissions from top artists each year. A vibrant celebration of urban art, the streets came alive with bold murals painted live by highly recognised artists, blending creativity with a strong sense of community and it’s diversity.
Over 30 street artists created live murals. The street art remains on buildings for one year, bringing colour to the street and forming one of London’s lesser known street art destinations.
Music, dance and spoken word came alive on multiple stages.
Stalls with artisan crafts and food offered treats to wear and eat.
Our partners, the local and national organisations on our doorstep, brought activities for all ages and vibes.
